Part 1 of 5. Amanda is approached by Japanese parties interested in securing the Squad for a mission in Asia. The Yakuza, disenfranchised Soviet war veterans, the Khmer Rouge, new villains, and special guest star Katana of the Outsiders all mixed together in a mulit-part epic, where death is the only break from intrigue.

Story eventually features the vampire Schrek.
