Based on the Filipino/Indonesian legends surrounding an evil blood-drinking demon that’s a cross between a vampire and a werewolf with wings. The creature takes the form of a human and when it changes, it severs itself from the trunk and flies around with its intestines hanging out while sucking the blood for its victims
