Guy reluctantly returns to his childhood home, a lighthouse on an abandoned island, that was also an orphanage run by his parents. At the request of his ailing mother, Guy begins to restore the lighthouse -- and memories of strange events from his childhood begin to overpower him: visions of ghoulish rituals, demented apparitions, ghosts and vampires... and of clandestine experiments performed on the children who once lived there.
